Palermo FC Book

The book Aquile. Il Palermo, il museo, la storia, la città traces the 120-year history of Palermo Calcio through unpublished documents, photographs, jerseys, postcards, archive material and celebrates the birth of the museum that will preserve its memory.

The history of Palermo is in fact a heritage of the city: the pioneers of foot-ball at the end of the 19^th century, the playing fields, the aristocratic and popular souls united by the same passion, the promotions, the defeats and many memorable characters inhabit this book that spans the 20^th century and arrives at today, at the rebirth of Palermo F.C.

Particular attention is given to the evolution of the jerseys, thanks to Carlo ‘CUT’ Cazzaniga’s drawings, through which the history of the team is told, the course of the seasons and the most representative players who have worn the rosanero are brought together.
